Aubrey & Caroline

Aubrey & Caroline were married at Ashton Memorial in Williamson Park Lancaster on Friday 19th September.

What an amazing setting!

The ceremony was very emotional, the singing performed by Lucy added to the beautiful atmosphere.

Aubrey & Caroline celebrated their wedding with a recpetion for family & friends in their local pub, the Fleece Inn

Ian & Gemma

Ian & Gemma were married on 6th September at Knowle Green Congregational Church and held their reception at Haighton Manor.

The weather could have been better but at least the rain held off long ehough to get some photos outside!

Ian & Gemma are friends from our church Fresh Manna Christian Fellowship and it was a pleasure to be able to do their wedding photography. The ceremony was wonderful with music from the Fresh Manna worship group and a friend of the couple.

Gemma is from Yorkshire, a Yorkshire tradition is to tie the church gates up and they cannot be untied until new money has been thrown over to the waiting children. Of course this tradition was upheld!

Lee & Judith

Lee & judith were married at Gibbon Bridge on 24th August on what turned out to be a perfect summer's day - and I havn't had many like that recently!

Their ceremony was performed in the beautiful garden watched by friends & family who were then entertained by a jazz band.

Martin & Debbie

As well as being my parents Ruby wedding anniversary, yesterday was also the day that Martin & Debbie tied the knot. I was in the privileged position of being both guest and photograher at a friends wedding. I have known Debbie since she was a mere child of nine years - so it was an exciting day indeed.

Martin & Debbie held their ceremony at Knowle Green Congregational Church in the heart of the Riobble Valley and held their reception at Ferrari's Country House Hotel near Chipping.

Christian & Lindsay

Friday 1st August was the date of Christian & Lindsay's wedding at St Anne's Church, Woodplumpton. The ceremony was filled with a mixture of the traditional and contemporary. Music was provided by the band of Fresh Manna Christian Fellowship (Christian & Lindsay's church - & mine!) Buster Violet, the couple's pastor gave a message and Father Damian from St Anne's performed the marrriage ceremony.

After the service the newlyweds and their guests set off for the reception at Bartle Hall. Lindsay works at Yummy Scrummy Cakes in Ashton and with the help of the owner and friend Ginny had made her own stunning cake.

Eddy & Sioned

Eddy & Sioned were married on 19th July at the beautiful church in Wrea Green. After a wet start to the day the sun came out in time for the wedding. It was a bit windy but that made for some lovely 'blowy veil' images!

After the ceremony eddy & Sioned drove off to the reception, a marquee in the grounds of Sioned's family house.

Tristan & Kate

Tristan & Kate were married in the splendour of Bamburgh Castle on Saturday. Bamburgh Castle sits on a crag on the Northumberland coast and is a very dramatic setting. The weather was a bit miserable but that did not spoil a beautiful occasion.

After the ceremony and drinks at the castle, Tristan & Kate made their way to Kate's family farm for the reception. The guests followed on a red London double decker bus!

The view from the marquee looked out to sea and across to the Holy Island of Lindisfarne.
