Ellie, Juliet & Daisy

It was the turn of my other brother, Paul's family for their shoot, we met in Manchester down by the canals in Castlegate.

Ellie & Juliet were well up for the shoot & Daisy warmed up after lunch!

It was another cold day, with beautiful sunshine causing a lovely light which was perfect to show off Daisy's glorious hair colour.

Miles & Jude

I spend so much time photographing other people's families that mine seems to get neglected, so I made somtime in the holidays to get together with my brothers & their families for a 'shoot' of their very own.

Firstly, off to Birmingham to photograph my youngest brother, Dave's two children, Miles & Jude.

It was a bitterly cold day - it had snowed in Birmingham - but we wrapped up and set off to the Botanical Gardens. The sun was out which helped but when that went in we made pit stop for hot choclate & cake. I finished the shoot in their back garden.

Anthony & Nicola

Saturday was a glorious autumn day and I spent it photographing Anthony & Nicola's wedding at Bartle Hall Country Hotel.

After a lovely ceremony in the garden room we went out into the grounds to make the most of this beautiful day. The sun was glistening through the trees and the ground was awash with the fallen, golden leaves.

Alex & Charlotte

I travelled to Suffolk last weekend for Alex & Charlotte's wedding at the magnificent Ickworth House. Ickworth is owned by the National Trust and weddings can be held in the West Wing.

The East Wing has been transformed into a luxurious hotel and that was where I met Charlotte for her getting ready photos.

What a truly beautiful & serene bride, the vintage theme of her head piece and dress suited her so well.

Mean while Alex was enjoying a bit to eat & a beer in the local with his best man & groomsmen.

The weather was absolutely perfect and after the ceremony in the Orangery the guests followed Alex & Charlotte out to the gardens for Pimms.

After their wedding breakfast Alex & Charlotte wowed their guests with a fabulous first dance and then danced into the night to ' The Swinging Little Big Band'

Ian & Gemma

Ian & Gemma were married on 6th September at Knowle Green Congregational Church and held their reception at Haighton Manor.

The weather could have been better but at least the rain held off long ehough to get some photos outside!

Ian & Gemma are friends from our church Fresh Manna Christian Fellowship and it was a pleasure to be able to do their wedding photography. The ceremony was wonderful with music from the Fresh Manna worship group and a friend of the couple.

Gemma is from Yorkshire, a Yorkshire tradition is to tie the church gates up and they cannot be untied until new money has been thrown over to the waiting children. Of course this tradition was upheld!

Ian & Gemma's inages are now online, for those with the password you can click here for a direct link to the online viewing site.
