Julia and Patrick were married at The Storrs Hall Hotel on the banks of Windermere.
The rain held off and the floods had subsided so we were all set for a lovely ceremony and then a boat ride around the lake.
The hotel was decorated beautifully for Christmas and Julia looked radiant in a dress which was made by Patricks' talented mother, which was a feat in itself as Julia and Patrick only decided to get married 6 weeks ago!
Even so, Patricks' mother also made Katies' bridesmaid dress and one of the 2 cakes.
The day ended with a ceildh which provided a lot of fun and laughter.
