website issues

I seem to be having some technical website issue at present. I am in the process of putting my new website up and this has caused a slight glitch, it seems that my email may be down too, so I do apologise if anyone is trying to get hold of me.

I am hoping to get this sorted out as soon as possible unfortunately my hosting company is based in the USA so I am waiting for them to wake up! In the mean time you can contact me on sam@lilahblue.com

Michael & Nina

Michael & Nina were married on 23rd May in the beautiful setting of the Shireburn Arms in Hurst Green. The inn has spectacular views acroos the Ribbe Valley and thankfully the weather was good enough to appreciate them!

I am currently having a little trouble with my website, the photographs are now online to be viewed, however I am having a little trouble with my website so it may not be accessible for a while. I hope to get it back to normal as soon as possible.

Thank you for your patience

Great Manchester Run 2009

In less than 2 weeks time my mum and I are taking part in the Bupa Great Manchester 10k Run 2009. Along aith a couple of friends we are hoping to raise money for The Isaiah Trust, a charity run by friends of ours which supports street children in Kenya.

Mum and I ran in this race last year and despite saying "never again" mum has decided to run again, think it had something to do with turning 60 at the beginning of the year! We have been training hard, mum is even going running on her holiday this week, so if you feel that you could support us it would be very much appreciated.

It's easy to sponsor us online by credit or debit card - just go to our Justgiving page:http://www.justgiving.com/andrewtalbot1
Justgiving sends your donation straight to The Isaiah Trust and automatically reclaims Gift Aid if you're a UK taxpayer, so your donation is worth even more. I hope you'll join us in supporting The Isaiah Trust.

Thank you :)

pre-wedding shoot

I was asked by one of my brides, if I would do a pre-wedding shoot for her friend Alana and husband-to-be Dave. Of course, I said, so we met up at Cuerden Valley Park, on a beautiful sunny Sunday afternoon with their dog Taz.

Alana & Dave live in Birmingham, and are getting married in North Wales on 6th June. I hope that they have a lovely day and wish them every happiness for the future.

lifestyle shoot

I spent some time with Rebecca, her brother, sister and 2 boys the other Sunday morning.

Rebecca's parents are moving to Africa for a few years to be involved in asome aid work, and she thought that some photos of the family to take with them would be a nice gift.

We went for a walk together round a field behind their parents house, whilst I shot images of the family as they played and chatted.

Rebecca is a physiotherapist and has a practice in Broughton, check her out, she has done wonders for my neck & shoulders :)

pre-wedding shoot

I spent the 18th April in London doing a pre-wedding shoot for Jenni & Ben who are geting married on 20th June in Maidstone, Kent.

We met at Trafalgar Square, by the fountains, which is where Ben proposed on Christmas Eve.
Unfortunately, due to a Dutch Festival and the fountains down for maintenance it wasn't quite the scene we had in mind - but we managed a few photos!

We then spent the day walking round London - down to Whitehall, the Embankment - over to the South Bank, down to the Tate, over the Millennium Bridge to St Paul's. Ben wanted to go see Buckingham Palace - so after a much needed sit down in Green Park, we obliged him. Then a walk up the Mall and back to Trafalgar Sqaure - phew!!
Needless to say I was glad to put my feet up on the train journey back North!
